Why Twin Flames Meet Later in Life

Many twin flames meet later in life. We’re not saying ALL twin flames meet later in life, just most of them.

They need to have relationship experiences to prepare them for a twin flame union. Then they must also be able to accept and fulfill their earthly mission.

MORE TWIN FLAMES MEET NOW THAN EVER

We are now at the gateway for the Aquarian Age. We’re visibly seeing more twin flames incarnate on the planet at the same time. Prior to this, only one twin flame would be on Earth, while the other twin remained on the other side.

The significance in twin flames finding each other is indicative of the planet ascending to a higher state of consciousness. Twin flames are highly evolved souls.

They work on themselves, lifetime after lifetime, to prepare for the twin flame reunion. Individual twin flames will visit Earth many times. Most of them are considered to be old souls.

A twin flame relationship is not about romance. It’s about the higher purpose of their twin flame destiny. This doesn’t mean you won’t have a great personal relationship with each other. However, you both must fulfill a higher calling that’s part of your destiny.

As a twin flame couple you agree before birth to bring something of value to others on the planet. In other words, it’s your soul gift to the world.

For most folks, when in their early years, such as 20s and 30s, they’re often confined to the rigors of job, family, children and caring for the home. In many instances this doesn’t provide the bandwidth to produce the soul gift. However, as we enter our 40s and 50s our lives shift. This creates the space necessary to fulfill the twin flame purpose.

YOUR TWIN FLAME DESTINY REQUIRES SOME MATURITY

If you’re in your early 20s, and meet someone with whom you feel a strong connection, more than likely it isn’t a twin flame candidate. The first person you meet, from a romantic perspective, will probably not be your twin flame. We understand some people’s need to project unrealistic romantic expectations on strong connections.

It could be a soul mate or kindred spirit. There are many similarities in all karmic relationships. When you are in your 20s and 30s you haven’t had enough relationship or life experiences to fulfill a twin flame destiny. This doesn’t mean these other relationships are worth tossing out the window. All the relationships throughout our lifetimes are building blocks to prepare us for the ultimate twin flame reunion.

Why Twin Flames Meet Later in Life
Why Twin Flames Meet Later in Life

Most twin flames meet later in life because they must have several intense relationships with a soul mate or other karmic connection. These relationships will probably be difficult or dysfunctional. More than likely they will end in a great deal of personal turmoil and heartbreak.

You sign up for a twin flame relationship, working with your guides. As you design your life’s blueprint, you agree to go through these difficult relationships. This will be the training ground to mold you for your twin flame destiny. You can’t have several soul mate relationships by the time you reach 25. It’s possible, we suppose, but very unlikely. The reason is because it could take years to heal from one soul mate connection.

YIN YANG BALANCE

As you mature, emotionally and spiritually, you’re opening the door for your twin flame to enter your life. For the majority of folks this doesn’t happen until we reach our 40s.

We all have a better balance between masculine and feminine energies when we are a little older. This yin-yang balance is very important for twin flames. You must be emotionally and spiritually strong for the twin flame destiny to manifest on the earthly plane.

This can only come through personal growth. You must have this personal growth to provide your soul gift, the twin flame purpose, which will help and inspire other souls on their journey through life.

We do have one caveat to this, however. Twin flames can meet when they’re younger, but they’re probably not ready for the sacred union. They will go in different directions, have other relationships or live in other countries. Until these tasks are completed, they won’t be ready for the twin flame reunion and all the blessings that come with their divine relationship.

  2. I don’t know if there is such a thing as this twin flame, but if so I have recently connected with mine. We first met when we were 12. He knocked in the door fir my sister. We looked at each other and I have seen this look on his, face three times since every time we met. It’s like he’s trying to figure something out. We didnt ever speak but he recently contacted me online and we spent the last three months chatting every night. We have had extremely similar lives and we often wrote the same thing at the same time. However, we are both in relationships and last week he just broke off contact. I am truly devastated but I know he needs to break away. He is extremely vulnerable with mental health issues. I know I am the stronger one and all I want to do is take care of him. I pray he will get back in touch. I am hurting so much. I did a meditation this morning and my guide saud I would have a sign today and signs this week. When I looked in the mirror for a brief second I saw his eyes. My guide also gave me a green amythest and when I look it is his birthstone. I’m not sure what is going on or what is going to happen. I just want this ache to go away. Can I also just say that the first time I saw him I ached of him to come back to my house. We are both in mid fifties now and I know he has not figured out our connection

  4. I met my TF at the tender age of 19 (TF – same age). We dated exclusively for four years; it was very intense on every level. After four years we went our separate ways and married other people. At the age of 57—38 years later—we reunited and intensely fell in love again. The first and the second union was like heaven right here on earth. The atmosphere was loving, peaceful, calm and downright perfect. I recall folks would often comment on our union or folks would stare at us; I remember the large flat screen TV’s, in our home, one a Smart TV (programmable) and the other was a none-programmable flat screen TV—would come-on by them selves. We lived together for four year, until my TF’s death in 2017. I went from heaven to hell separation and I got to tell yah, it feels like my last incarnation.

  5. Once upon a time I thought this concept was romantic fantasy, but an experience in the past month has opened my mind to this in a big way. In reading this article I was blown away at how it nearly narrates this whole experience for me. I’ve always been spiritual and fully believe in every day miracles, I’d classify my experience as an every day miracle.

  6. I’d say very rare, but yet not Impossible. We are a young couple, both in our early twenties with massive awakenings shortly before we met. We are both from different countries. What this relationship endures and goes through is what keeps us strong and continue on forward, especially when we keep each other wise and connected. We mirror each other, and we’ve felt this. Go through tons of synchronicities and empathic connections. We rely on our communication, and how we we work on our differences as a team. Because its truly the connection of ONE, our soul is balancing, carrying us through this journey with lots of love and light, which we both love to share. We both had to grow up very quickly, cutting our childhoods short, yet were blessed with reuniting in a completely different place from where we were both born, destined to meet years later, me being only 18 and him 22. We are from a small community, so the amount of times our paths might have crossed are probably high. But it wasn’t until the divine intervened and brought us together.

  7. I met my TF at 19, had four wonderful intense months together and then he left for o/s. Fast forward one year, we meet again when i travelled to his country, he proposes, i say No as circumstances due to health. But my heart breaks. We meet up again very briefly (for a weekend) twice more over the next 2 years when he returns to our city, can’t get enough of each other and then he leaves after each encounter and disappears. We try friendship, but i couldn’t bear sharing dinner celebrations with his new girlfriend, it crushes my soul not to be able to be together. I disappear. I meet someone new, get married and have a gorgeous family. Fast forward 20 years , my marriage is in crisis, i search and find TF on social media. Message him and catch up for meal. He is single and living nearby. we take it from where it left off. it is intense beyond words and the most magical connection i have ever experienced. the most romantic and adventurous love affair of my life. A year later, leave my husband, set up a new home alone, but stay part time with TF, whilst kids on weeks with father. The love continues to grow but TF claims he just wants fun and freedom, not commitment. i want to build a new life with him, but he resists and keeps me at arms lengths. Finally after 2 years from beginning, I say I’m moving on to the new life I seek, to create something i dream of. It kills me to walk away but I need to. I decide to reunite with husband to continue raising children as I have given up on the dream…I realise that TF is all i want so no point moping around being unhappily single when Husband is keen to mend the bridges and offers shelter for my (secret) broken heart. Fast forward 2 months and TF gets in touch. We meet for drinks. He has seen the light, declares his unrequited love, has decided I am all he wants and needs. Says EVERYTHING I have been waiting to hear for 24 years! Alas I am pinned to my new circumstances. So after a week of TF serenading me, I sadly let him know that I have no energy to do it all again, leave my husband again, set up another home. TF asks me to move in with him! …I decide I have to disappear from his life again. so here I am, months of no contact and so very very sad that we have again missed the opportunity. Perhaps one day when my children are grown I will be ready to search again. I can only hope that we will have the chance to reunite….But, i am going to use this time to rediscover myself and achieve the dreams I had forgotten about. And TF is always with me, always has been, and I realise I don’t need him in my life to feel this love.

  8. I met my Twin Flame 11 months ago and it has been the most beautiful expression of love we have ever known. He is 67 and I am 65. We both have been through numerous failed relationships so it’s great to know that those relationships were preparing us for our reunion. We are in different countries at the moment however the distance makes no difference as our souls are so connected that we “feel” each other as if we were actually together. We are not afraid of running from each other because this love is so pure and comforting that we will never let this go . We have a combined powerful energy field that is helping those around us by boosting their bodies natural healing ability and we understand that this is the purpose of our reunion. Sex has never felt this amazing before the reunion and we cannot seem to ever get enough of each other. We only wish we had met earlier in Life as we would have made some beautiful children to help in our mission to aide the Planet. We view this TF relationship as a reward for all the love and kindness we have given to others in our lifetime.

  9. I met my TF when I was 52 and he was 66. We met online and I started having psychic experiences at the time. We have not met in the physical and I doubt we ever will. It has been very difficult and I suppose finding your TF isn’t meant to be easy. Especially if you will never be together in the physical but from what I understand, after meeting them, you are missing the point because the idea is to work on yourself, Still, the pain of longing isn’t easy. When I met him, my whole being vibrated with love, my true self. I wouldn’t have missed that for anything. You write of rivers, they send me forth and cut my heart, they don’t go north.

  10. Mine came to me as a spirit 20 years before we met.
I saw her eyes and my chakras activated.
Made me see I had spiritual abilities as spirit kept at me until I did.
But then, I’m a true twin flame.
    This article is really good.

  11. I met my twin flame the summer that we both turned 21. I had been in love 3 times before, and he had been in love once. We both knew as soon as we met that there was something between us that was unlike anything we had ever experienced, or even observed in others. When I started reading about twin flame relationships this year, we couldn’t believe there was a name and a concept that perfectly described how we’ve been talking about our relationship for years. We keep using the phrase “last life, best life” as a semi-joke, but we’re more energized than ever to look forward and understand how we can use our unique bond and combined talents to make the world a better place, in both small and hopefully big ways

  13. We met in our teens. It was a very intense relationship. However we never had sex. The opportunity was there plenty of times but for some reason we always ended up talking or holding eachother. Time seemed to stand still. We ended up drifting apart for some reason. Fast forward about 20 years. We end up reconnecting, both married and have children living happy lives. We continue to talk and communicate. We live about 45 minites apart but have chose to not meet in person. Both very aware of this connection. She always seems to call when something isnt quite right or i have some kind of turmoil going on. I feel like i can never stop talking to her and the truth always seems to come out about my feelings. I feel no judgement from her and i have none towards her but the feeling of her presence is intense. Whether its over text, email or over the phone. The crazy thing is we are both on the same page, in tune with eachothers thoughts and emotions. Neither of us want to upset the others life. But we continue to be drawn and pulled to one another. Just wanted to share with the random people on the internet.

  14. I can identify with this. We met in our late 50s. We had both been broken by our past experiences. I had met a few soul mates over the course of my life and they did take longer to get over than other relationships I had. Each soulmate helped put me in place for each following stage of my life. I helped people with depression after being told I had an ability to connect with them. My twin works to help people in another way after being told he had an ability for that type of work. After losing a long term platonic soulmate and coming out of a difficult karmic relationship of 7 yrs I met my twin after realising I’d reached the end of getting involved again. I was weary of the prospect of the ordinary process relationships take and just couldn’t be bothered with them any more. I devoted myself to helping older people like myself to get out and enjoy nature etc and my twin joined this group. We are apart but only physically. I now sense him within me especially if I experience something I appreciate or which concerns me. When I first looked into his eyes I fell through them into him somehow. Last time we spoke I saw a blue orb floating in between us in front of his eyes. He continues to help people with their issues and I continue to help older people get outside to do gentle walks.

  15. 45 yr married male, TF is 50 yr female.
Is this real? Words cannot describe what we have.
Kinda new to this. My story will be brief.
I never was never a spiritual person. Till 2009. Got deathly sick, saw the death of of a dear loved one. While slowly recovering, I was awakened. It started with 11:11, constantly, everywhere, forever it seemed. I knew it wasn’t coinicidence. Ffwd to 2016. Bumped into a woman I’ve known from the small town I grew up in. As a teen, I was mystified by her. She was magnetic. We became friends on social media, and it sky-rocketed from there. Due to my situation, I ran. She is very aware of my marriage, but knows it’s been dead a long time. She was the spiritual one, and opened the door for me.
Im drawn to this like flies to a carcass. I was the runner. I’m not proud of cheating, but I cannot get her out of my head, and vice versa. Our lives have been completely parallel. We’re both wounded souls. It feels natural, beautiful, and stellar. Im Scorpio and she is Pisces. It has been hell, but we grow more balanced each day. And before you call her a homewrecker, I initiated everything. So dont.
Is she possibly my TF? She believes we are, and this may still be me, running.. A little less though.
Im confused and in total and complete Cosmic love….
    Thanks

I’m 22 and I’m sure I know who my TF is, he is 26, we have not met yet(weird situation) but even so I feel like I will be meeting him pretty soon, we both are very mature and feel like we are ready to meet, so…this is not always the case is it? Can we meet in our 20s?

  17. My TF and I are 32 years apart. I’m 27 and he is 59, this is the first time I’ve typed/said it out loud and it still takes me by surprise sometimes. It’s a crazy, beautiful, sometimes scary roller coaster of a ride and I really wonder sometimes…why me. I don’t feel like I’m strong enough for this.

    • I hear you! I feel that we both decided to incarnate in this lifetime and it is such a gift. Albeit challenging in our current culture. But my twin and I are holding on tight and surfing the waves! You are not alone.

      • My TF and I have about only 3years age gap, he’s 29 and I just turned 33, our meeting was the most phenomenal event that happened in my life, we met online in a group that had about 25000 people and the best part is that our connection was instant. It’s been over 6 years now, we hail from different countries and still haven’t met in real, maybe we’re not ready for the reunion yet but I’ve felt him close to me like I’d feel a real person near me. I’ve heard his voice even before actually hearing him talk. We’ve always communicated through chats or texts but even in those messages I can feel the strong connection and love. And he is the one who told me that I’m his TF, I never actually believed in things like this but now I’m a believer. And I hope that someday soon he and I will get our chance to meet.

  18. My TF is 66 I am 34. When we meet it was explosive, a feeling we both talk about, feeling “home” when we look into each other eyes. When we embrace and hug each other his scent is familiar his touch calms my mind when we embrace it something I can’t put into words only feel. We have many days where he will say what I was thinking and vice versa, we can’t explain why but we feel we have known each other already, things just seem as if we have done this before we have been together for 3 years yet we can relate and act like we have been together for 30 years. It much deeper then I love you, it’s a pull from my.soul, we both say that we feel like it’s a magnetic pull when we hug, there’s so much more I wish I could share with you. It’s so hard to explain just something we feel, it’s not something I ever felt before. I was married before and he was as well both of us have said we never felt this before, he jokes about not letting go of his hand again lol meaning somehow we lost each other and finally found each other again.

  19. Lots of questions about large age differences. It seems mine just turned 40 while I’m 25. My other relationships were very different though, but my ex was 47 when we broke up a few years ago. It’s a bit odd, but apparently not unheard of to have large age differences.

  22. My twin is much younger and also a hetero woman. We are stepping out in faith, and just continue to keep our vibrations high and work through our ego/pain body issues. Naturally there are fears about the future, but we have promised each other that we will always be here with and for each other. It’s challenging but also the greatest gift either of us could imagine. It’s car-amazing! <3

  24. Okay so what if there is a big difference in age? Will the older one have to wait until the other is 40 to 50 for reunion? And there have to be younger twin couples that are spiritually mature enough for the Union. Just asking!

  25. I am 29, and my twin flame few years older, and we meet almost 2 years ago, he married his soul mate, and yes, we live in different countries. But, dear God, he is in my head 24/7, and that makes me crazy. He is living his beautiful, happy life, gaining material things, and my life is nightmare with million problems. If that is our soul contract where he lives perfectly in peace, and me as a crazy thinging about him, with destroyed life and dreams, that is unjuctice. I want him out of my head.
